Intro slide:
Hi, I’m Jo Gower, Founder of Amplify Inclusion. This video shows the typical steps to completing a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Access project together.
Every client is different and I adapt my working style to suit your needs and context. However, if you want to know if working with a consultant is right for you (or if you're neurodivergent!), it can be useful to have a bit of structure. So, let’s jump in.
First contact slide:
The first step is for you to get in touch! To do this you can use my contact form or simply send an email to jo@amplify-inclusion.com. I will respond to your message as soon as possible, and invite you for a free discovery call at a time that works for you.
Disco call slide:
The discovery call (or disco call, if you’re fancy) is where we get to know each other. I will ask you questions to learn about your challenges, goals, and wins, what kind of DEIA interventions you're interested in, and the kind of culture and attitudes your organisation has. You'll probably ask me some questions, too - about my approach, my recommended solutions, and logistics like timelines and pricing. All of this will build into a full proposal.
Proposal slide:
My proposals are designed to give you everything you need to know before making a decision to work with me. They include detailed descriptions of my recommended next steps, how I will complete the work for you, and what our key outputs will be. I will provide a full breakdown of costs, and, if you're looking for training services, a session outline. After sending you the proposal I'll wait to hear your thoughts and then (if you decide I'm the right partner for you!) we will sort out logistics.
Logistics slide:
This is the point where we work out the fine details; confirm fees, timelines and key milestones, and work out which stakeholders we need to get involved.
To make sure you have a great experience, I’ll send you my Inclusive Working Survey which you can fill out with details of your work styles, communication preferences, accessibility needs, and anything else you’d like to share. I'll also send you a contract to sign off all we have agreed upon, and then the project can kick off!
The project slide:
Dependent upon whether we’ve agreed upon training, consultancy, or speaking projects, we will have different things to cover. Rest assured that, regardless of the project, I will keep an open stream of communication with you, provide you with updates, and make sure you are confident about our progress as it happens.
Feedback and wrapping up slide:
Once the project is completed, it's time for your feedback. If it makes sense for the project, I’ll invite you for a 6-month check-in to evaluate the success and impact of the work over time. Once you're completely happy, I'll ask you for a testimonial to go on this website, and ask if there's anything else I can help with.
Final slide:
If you’re interested in partnering with Amplify Inclusion, or if you have any questions, please do get in touch via my contact form or by sending me an email. I look forward to working with you and making real change together.
